Hi nice post, i have come across your site once before when searching for something so i was just wondering something. I love your theme, would it happen to be a free one i can download, or is it a custom one you had made? In a few weeks i will be launching my own site, i'm not great with designs but i really like the style of your site so it would be cool if i could find (or pay for) something with a similar look. :) Thanks!

PS, if you're a blogger, get someone to interview you or your company - using your name or company in the blog post title tag, example:

I'll throw in a couple more that I've used for reputation management clients.

PRWeb (you can create a company profile)
Zoominfo
Fast Company social networking site
Flickr (your username can be separated with a space which makes a difference!)
Government industry sites (in Canada it's strategis.gov.ca)
AboutUs.org (wiki where you can write a profile for your domain)
SEOmoz (use this for myself, they purposely set this up so it will rank super high for your name)
Rollyo (custom search engine - gives you a profile)
Twitter
Create an articles account with article directories, they often rank high
If you're a company, post job openings in Craigslist with your name in the listing title
Guest posting does well too
Sign up with other video sharing sites like Blip.tv
Mashable's social network ranks highly too.

I don't think any of these would be considered black hat tactics. Having a brand presence on other popular social websites shows that you are interested in contributing to an online community. Because Google thinks so highly of the sites above, you will also likely rank high for your brand or company name.
